The buggiest IDE in the world

I am working on WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Integration Developer for the last couple of weeks. From my experience with WebSphere Integration Developer I would say this is the buggiest IDE in the world. I had never seen this kind of issues even with a school project.

Most of the times the server wouldn’t change the status to started even if the server is actually started, publishing would not work, not able to add a project to the server, the changes made in a project will not be reflected in the server and so on. If all these things worked, then we will get a series of exception with some stupid ids. If we search the error code in IBM infocenter we will get an explanation that is no way matches with the problem we are facing. What a f**g product

IBM is charging huge money for WebSphere Process Server and Integration Developer licenses. But why can’t they provide some quality product to the user? Does IBM really know what the meaning of testing is? I really doubt whether they are testing their product or not.

If someone from IBM reads this post, please please test your products before you release it to the end user and please give some proper explanations and how to solve these issues in your infocenter.

      hi albin,

U are absolutely correct, i too have faced all these problems for past 1 month, but i didnt faced these things when i worked with my previous version of WID. I think these bugs are all coming after updating to fixpacks 6.0.2….

      bye….

I had worked some months in that IDE, and I’m complete agree about yours ideas, indeed, I’d describe WID like Worst Integreation Developer insted of Websphere Integration Developer, It’s a crap!!
