Comments on: WPS server move

We have an huge issue. We do not only have a new Database (Oracle) but a complete new environment with a new clean install of Portal and Process server in a new data center without a connection to the old environment.

We did an export of the “old” Process server schema’s and imported them into the “new” environment. That did not work. We encountered all kind of errors, like “bus” related, etc

Therefore we restored the the following message-engine schema’s:
CEIDB
SCAAPPMSG
SCASYSMSG

That did help a bit. However, we currently do not see all long living processes in the BPC…. they simply do not show up. Next to that we see non-application related errors, we never seen before. So we are stuck now. No clue how to continue.

Anybody any ideas?

In BPEDB all process instance are stored , can we extract the process instance by any API to do some thing ? basicaly i want to xtract that to do some testing automation? any link is there for this … it will be great help…

We need to automate the testing of one BPM project which is in WPS 7.0 … any tool is there which can be used directly to automate with very less customisation …

when i right click on derby database i am not able to find a migrate option. Using WID 6.2.

I used WID not DB2 Developer workbench for migrating the database. Read thru page 5 of the PDF provided in the URL below. It has details about navigating to the WID “database explorer” view and in particular, how to connect to a Derby database.

Note: You can connect to Derby without specifying the username and password.

Once done, create a new connection to the database you want to migrate to.

Then, right click on Derby database and select the migrate option.

I have not worked with DB2 Developer workbench. So I do not know which perspective this wizard is. Ashwin said that its working for him. Let me see if he can help.
